Alex is a multilingual secretary based in Munich. After working for several international companies and global law firms, she is now an assistant at a local organisation supporting children and youths in difficult situations. Alex loves to travel all of Europe, mostly concentrating on Portugal and Spain, but also paying visits to Ireland, France and Sweden. She never travels without her beloved Sony alpha 6000, taking pictures all day long which she‘s had the opportunity to exhibit in two different locations in Munich. You can also find her on stage, performing musical theatre. Alex started working at Packing Panic in October 2024, mainly processing orders and translating our blog for our German-speaking readers.

Bakhrul is an Engineering Graduate who transitioned into digital marketing in 2021. In September 2022, he left his full-time job to pursue his passion for travel and nomadic living. An adventure seeker at heart, Bakhrul enjoys embarking on challenging trips such as a 23-hour train ride in India from Jaisalmer to New Delhi, a 26-hour bus ride from Hanoi, Vietnam to Luang Prabang, Laos, and a month-long cycling trip from Bangkok, Thailand to Cirebon, Indonesia. With years of backpacking experience, he is constantly optimizing his luggage for maximum efficiency while on the go.

Jan Gruber is a media creator and designer with a strong passion for all things hiking, photography, cars, and travelling. It might sound a bit cliché, but he loves to explore places in a way that locals experience them, visiting grocery stores and office buildings for the “cultural experience”. He will also gladly tell you how much he appreciates analog and slow things, only to pull out the most detailed map you’ve ever seen on his phone in the next moment.

Jens Wilke

Although based in Munich, since 2015 mostly travelling and working from remote sites. Jens is a seasoned software engineer and runs his own boutique software shop since 1994, mostly doing consulting. He likes long distance hiking and has walked the West Highland Way, the Camino and also cycled on the Highway 1 in California from San Diego to San Francisco. Jens is constantly minimizing and optimizing his luggage and never leaves home without a scale and a meter.
